Scare’m scares the pigeons off the crops with little maintenance 24/7! Unlike many other pigeon scaring devices Scare’m is always changing. It varies its manifestation by altering its flight pattern, speed and height depending on the strength of the wind therefore the pigeons never become accustomed to the Scare’m.
Our bird scaring kites are of a far stronger, heavier build than the standard fishing rod poles used by similar bird scaring products, yet still remain light enough to be easily moved from place to place in a field. Reinforcement rings on every section to prevent splitting during setup and long term bird scaring in field conditions.
Designed by a farmer through extensive self testing. About eight years ago we were having trouble with pigeons on the farm along with every other arable farmer in the country. We have found since using the Scare’m on our oil seed rape crop our yields have increased massively along with our profit margins.
Upon meeting you and your product at the 2011 Doe Show this year, and ordering 1 scare’m bird, the product was easy to assemble and has been a pleasure to drive past and see fly in almost no wind. It defiantly does work, we think that it is affective to 10 – 20 ac of rape per bird. We shall be ordering some more for the forthcoming cropping year.
